On October 28, Paul Pelosi, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s husband, was attacked by a hammer in his San Francisco residence at 2:27 a.m.
Yes, you read that correctly.
The nuisance of Napa County was assaulted by an object.
Like firearms, this troublesome tool has a mind of its own. Emerging from dormancy, the hammer made its move.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer came down upon his head.
Clang! Clang! Laws against hammers we now shall embed.
Obviously, Nancy Pelosi’s gavel did not awaken from an inanimate state to pound the House Speaker’s husband.
A person committed this crime.
The attacker was identified as David Depape, a 42-year-old resident of Berkeley, California.
Historically, Berkeley is synonymous with radical left-wing ideology because of the University of California, Berkeley, a college infamous for its liberal student body. Depape, a Castro-dwelling nudist, conformed with this connotation. Adorned in rainbow flags and virtuous signage, pictures of his potential residence reveal allegiance to the Democratic Party.
Major news outlets ignored these observable characterizations. They portray Depape as a right-wing extremist who targeted Pelosi in an act of political terror, citing Depape’s interest in conspiracy theories as evidence.
CNN referenced several blogs linking Depape to recognizable conservative controversies like QAnon, COVID-19, and 2020 election fraud allegations; however, CNN was not able to confirm that Depape authored these posts.
MSNBC interviewed progressive Rep. Ilhan Omar, who further characterized the attack as partisan. She emphasized boosting security, stating that death threats are “…not just harmful to me… but it’s harmful to my family.”
A common talking point is that Paul Pelosi should have had the same level of security that Nancy Pelosi, who was in Washington, D.C., was afforded at the time of the incident. The media treated his assault as though he were an elected official; however, he is a private citizen.
If Paul Pelosi needs better security, he can pay for it himself with the riches his family acquired from insider trading.
Clearly, the Pelosis are better at trading stock than trading blows to the noggin.
In a Pennsylvania Midterm Election campaign speech, President Joe Biden likened the attacker’s utterance of “Where’s Nancy?” to chants heard January 6.
A convenient narrative was quickly established by politicians and pundits, but reports omit details crucial to the full story.
Depape, described as “a friend” of Pelosi in his police dispatch call, was in his underwear.
Officers arrived to perform a welfare check on Pelosi, and a third individual opened the door. Pelosi and Depape were seen wrestling over the hammer.
Knowing that Depape is accused of sexually abusing his two sons and that he displays a homosexual pride flag outside of his house, perhaps he was more than just “a friend” to Pelosi.
This isn’t the first time Paul Pelosi was hammered.
In May, Paul Pelosi was arrested for drunk-driving after crashing his Porsche into a Jeep. His blood alcohol level was greater than 0.08%. In August, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge, was sentenced to 5 days in jail, but served none thereafter. Court records state that Pelosi had credit for 2 days and was not required to serve the others due to good behavior.
The Pelosis are not in need of greater security; they are a protected class.
"hmmm yes hammers = guns as both are equally efficient at mass killing."
